2006-07 Annual Report – TC3 Foundation – New Design

The Foundation has accomplished quite a bit in the past year because of YOU! Because of you, the Foundation awarded 36 scholarships totaling $70,533 to 57 students, one of which went to Africa. Because of you the Foundation provided the College with $8,646.61 for staff professional development. To see all the articles read the report.

Foundation Announces Scholarship Opportunites for 2008-2009

One of the TC3 Foundation’s most vital activities is the stewardship of a scholarship program for students. Community college students face many financial obstacles, and often, traditional forms of aid offered through the office of financial aid are not adequate to meet students’ need. Thus, the Foundation has developed several programs augmenting student aid in an effort to ease this financial burden. The Foundation offers these funds through the generosity of community donors, who recognize the need to support educational opportunity.

The Need for Support

It is ironic that as the increased cost of a community college education discourages students from attending college for financial reasons, many local employers are finding it difficult to locate employees with skills needed for today’s competitive workplace.

Capital Campaign

Think of the Possibilities, the Campaign for TC3 is nearing completion. We have raised almost $2.9 million of our $3 million dollar goal. We could not have done this without our wonderful donors. Thank you for your support — with your help we are making this a reality!

Together We Make a Difference The TC3 Foundation Annual Campaign directly supports our student and their financial education needs. We distributed over $88,000 directly to our students through scholarships, grants in aid and graduation awards. Our goal for the 2007-2008 Annual Campaign is $185,000. We are grateful for all the support we have received from our donors.

The Shaw Legacy Society for TC3 The opportunity to include planned giving in your estate plan offers creative strategies for alumni, friends, faculty, and staff of TC3 to make a gift to the college.
