![]() Think of the Possibilities...The Campaign for TC3![]() From the Campaign ChairmanDear Friends: ![]() My early educational roots include attendance at a SUNY community college. This experience provided a solid foundation for my further education and created a warm spot in my heart for the work they do. And, as an area employer, I have benefited countless times from a skilled workforce—trained and retrained by Tompkins Cortland Community College. So it was indeed a delight for me to accept the capital campaign chairman role when asked. "Think of the Possibilities: The Campaign for TC3" is the college’s first capital campaign and is far more than a traditional appeal for financial support. It is our response to the community’s changing needs and to the changing global landscape that the TC3 community—and indeed all of us—find ourselves in today. These needs are rooted in ever-increasing enrollment at the College, new and emerging academic programs, and the impact of technology on the College’s curriculum and the way it does business. To-date, and in the quiet phase of the capital campaign, we have already been blessed with some exceptionally generous, even transformational gifts. And, we could not be successful without those. But our campaign also relies on the power of strength through participation by our entire community of supporters—alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends. It is not the size of your gift that matters. Rather, it is the enthusiastic statement we all make when we join together in this effort showing the deep commitment of our community to the important role that Tompkins Cortland Community College plays in our lives. Your investment is needed to support our college and our future generations. In fact, this is, a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to further develop TC3 into a truly great institution of higher learning. Together, by investing in people, we will continue to be gratified and amazed at what we accomplish. Your loyalty and generosity to TC3 has never been more critical – nor more appreciated. Respectfully yours, | ||
